Procedure for Venezuelan companies to formalize LOCTI contributions in order to support BALMEVG
To make investments and/or donations under the Science, Technology and Innovation law LOCTI, your company must:
- Register with the Declaration and Control System for Investments/Donations in Science, Technology and Innovation (SIDCAI) http://sidcai.oncti.gob.ve/index.php
- Register with the Declaration System for Investments/Donations of BALMEVG
- Select the specific project(s) you would like to support
- Have a Proof of Registration for BALMEVG by SIDCAI
- Have a Certification from BALMEVG for ONCTI
- Find the UNIQUE bank account of BALMEVG for LOCTI payments, where the deposit of the investment/donation will be made. For more information, please contact BALMEVG
- Once the money has been deposited or the bank transfer has been made, the Company should contact BALMEVG via letter, email or fax regarding the original and copy of the deposit voucher or the reference of the bank transfer. Subsequently, BALMEVG will deliver a record or receipt for the deposit or bank transfer
- The company receives the template for the Letter of Intent and must make appropriate adjustments specified in that document, and send this information as soon as possible to BALMEVG, together with the identity card of the company representative. A BALMEVG representative will complete the data and the signing of the Letter of Intent by the recipient and the Company will take place. There will be three copies: one for the company, one for BALMEVG and one for ONCTI
- BALMEVG will then contact the company to discuss designing, planing and implementing the project
